Darren Smith is the Business Delivery Lead for BAE Systems – Underwater Battlespace and Autonomy (UWBA).
Responsible for managing the development, exploitation and integration of new of processes, tools and technologies across multidisciplinary teams to ultimately enable BAE Systems UWBA to retain its competitive edge and operational excellence.
Over 20 years’ experience in delivering the Science & Technology (S&T) and Engineering aspects of key programmes within the Defence Industry to deliver new processes, products, systems and platforms.
Pragmatic and focused Engineering professional with extensive experience in working with multi-disciplined stakeholders across different customer groups within industry, academia and government in order to facilitate the development and exploitation of new innovative procedures and technologies.
